I'm Varonicka Kiara Talomerna, a 21-year-old with Bahamian and Ethiopian heritage. I played flag football in high school for a short period of time, but without access to a gym, I worked out at home. After taking a break from exercising for almost a year, my fitness efforts came to an end. During that time, I lost about thirty pounds due to stress, poor diet, and depression. On March 28, 2022, I made the decision to focus on self-improvement and reach my highest potential.

I didn't just wake up one day with the strength and confidence I have now—it was built day by day, through every challenge I faced. There were moments when I wanted to give up, when the weight of stress and doubt felt too heavy to bear. But I realized that my biggest opponent wasn't the weights in the gym or the obstacles in life—it was my own mindset.

So I made a promise to myself: to show up every day, even when it was hard, even when I didn't feel like it. I learned that the real victory isn't in the big milestones, but in the decision to keep going, to keep pushing, no matter what.

Do I need to be in shape before starting with a personal trainer?

  • No! Personal training is for all fitness levels, from beginners to advanced athletes. I’ll meet you where you are and help you progress.

What types of training do you offer?

  • I offer one-on-one personal training, group sessions, online coaching, and specialized programs such as strength training, weight loss & gain, and functional fitness.

Can I book a free consultation?

  • No, I offer a $20 consultation to discuss your goals, answer any questions, and see if we’re a good fit to work together. If you proceed, the $20 will go towards your first session.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule a session?

  • Please provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a session to avoid a cancellation fee.

How much does personal training cost?

  • Pricing varies depending on the type of training and the package you choose. You can find detailed pricing information during your consultation.

What payment methods do you accept?

  • I accept cash, credit/debit cards, and online payments via platforms like PayPal, Cashapp or Zelle.

What if I’m nervous or intimidated about starting?

  • It’s normal to feel nervous, but I’m here to support you every step of the way. My goal is to create a positive, encouraging environment where you feel comfortable and motivated.

How do I get started?

  • Getting started is easy! Please fill out your 1:1 enrollment form. We will be reaching out to you 24-48hrs once you complete the form. This enrollment form will allow us to know who we are speaking to & know how to help you prior to your meeting. In the span of your appointment, we will get to know one another, talk about all of your questions and concerns, discuss how we can help, go over the costs, and much more.
